Clean N’ Dirty

Know Your Clothes: Inside or Out

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a pile of clothes on the floor of your bedroom. Trouble is; you don’t have a clue as to what’s clean and what’s dirty. Getting up in the morning you pick clothes at random from a gant pile that has yet to be sorted, folded, washed, or put into a dresser. It’s a mess, and you see something you want to wear, pick it up, and smell it to see if its clean. Bad habit, yeah. Maybe you do laundry on a regular basis, but don’t get around to sorting it all out, or putting it away (I rarely even match up my socks). So now, on your floor, or piled inside indistinguishable laundry baskets are clean and dirty clothes scattered in your room. I’ve got a really simple solution, and really, it should have crossed my mind a long time ago.

The solution, is about as easy as it gets. When you take off your dirty clothes, to throw them in the pile of otherwise untidy clothing, just turn the dirty stuff inside out. That way, when it comes time to clean that smelly mess, you’ll know exactly whats clean and what’s dirty. Simple as that. Just remember to turn them right side out again when you wash ‘em, whether before or after is up to you.
